Biography of Emily Atkinson Green

Emily is the VP of Administration and Human Resources for BellHawk Systems Corporation. She is a specialist in the management of human resources including recruiting, compensating, and managing technical, sales, operational and management employees.

Emily has many years experience in managing human resources for both high technology and manufacturing organizations. She especially understands the unique challenges of integrating direct hires with subcontract and consulting personnel in the software and engineering business sectors.

Emily also managed the human resources function for a state-of the-art, multi-shift manufacturing facility for over a decade. As a result she understands the challenges of recruiting, hiring and managing both skilled and semi-skilled blue-collar workers.

Emily is an expert in compensation, benefits (especially health care) and in managing legal aspects of employment such as managing workers compensation claims.

While attending business school, Emily helped launch Northeastern University’s Executive and High Technology MBA Programs.

At BellHawk Systems, Emily is responsible for administering BellHawk Systems delivery of solutions for its clients. This includes coordinating the delivery of a wide range of professional services that are provided by staff members, consultants and an off–shore software development team. Emily also serves as BellHawk Systems resident expert in human resources, labor tracking and time and attendance systems.

Emily brings a unique perspective to her multiple roles. She understands what is important to small and mid-sized manufacturers and industrial companies, particularly those that are family owned and operated. While she is not a technologist, she has spent years recruiting and managing programmers and engineers and so understands what is needed to motivate them to provide outstanding service to BellHawk Systems’ clients.
