Customer orders can be imported into the BellHawk database from CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and Accounting systems. They can also be entered directly into BellHawk using PC screens within its sales order module.
BellHawk also provides the capability for web-based applications to interrogate the current inventory status and then to export customer orders directly to BellHawk.
Once customer orders are in BellHawk, they are tracked through production, picking, packing and shipping. Order status is normally viewed using PCs and the standard BellHawk status tracking screens. In addition, external web-based applications can interrogate the BellHawk database for the real-time status of each customer order.
The major benefits of being able to track the status customer orders in real-time are:
Once a customer's orders are shipped, the resultant shipments can then be exported automatically to the client's ERP, CRM and accounting systems. As part of the shipment data, BellHawk can also interface with shipping systems. As a result, BellHawk can export data such as shipper tracking numbers, lot and serial numbers, and shipping fees, so these can be included on the customer invoice.
With its third-party logistics module, BellHawk enables its clients to ship private label or third party materials to end customers. In this case, the web-based interfaces can enable end-customers to place orders directly on the Internet through a website that has the third-party look and feel. Alternately orders captured by the third-party organization's website can be relayed over the Internet to the BellHawk system database.
BellHawk Systems can provide interfaces to simple sales tracking systems such as ACT as well as to on-line CRM applications, such as SugarCRM. BellHawk Systems can collect order entry data from mobile data collection devices and also relay order status information back to these same mobile devices using its store and forward technology.
