Tracking and Traceability Requirements

BellHawk Systems has over 20 years experience in providing tracking and traceability support to Department of Defense projects. BellHawk Systems has worked directly with the US Air Force and Navy and as a subcontractor on Army and Marine Corps. projects. BellHawk has worked as a subcontractor to major defense contractors such as Raytheon, Hughes, General Dynamics and GTE. BellHawk has also provided tracking and traceability support to a number of smaller defense contractors.

To support this mission, BellHawk Systems has developed special DoD related software modules that support:

• Printting of DOD compliant UID barcodes for serialized products with 2D barcodes

• Printing of National Stock Number Barcodes on product boxes.

• Printing of Military Standard Shipping Labels with 2D barcodes

• Encoding of RFID Tags placed on Pallets or Shipping Containers

• Tracking of which items were packed into which boxes

• Tracking shipment of cartons and pallets

• Generation of nested container Advanced Shipment Data for WAWF submission

The BellHawk software eliminates the mistakes that that come from "fat-fingering" in data into standard barcode-label generation programs or manually entering data into WAWF. Instead, BellHawk draws all the data from its database and automatically inserts this into the label formats. It also generates the WAWF ASN submission from this data so as to avoid many common causes of mistakes and errors. The required data elements can be imported from your ERP/accounting system using a standard interface and is also collected using barcode scanning as materials are packed.

The BellHawk software works in conjunction with the just released BarTender Enterprise-RFID^® to support a wide range of barcode and barcode/RFID smart label printers. BellHawk eliminates the need to understand the intricacies of the formats of the required 2D barcode labels and tags by automatically inserting the data from its database in the correct formats.
